WHO WE ARE:
The Rotary Club of Warwick at City Center is a welcoming and diverse group of action-oriented, service-focused leaders working together to create lasting change in our local and global communities. The Bacon Bash is our signature annual charitable event. It drives most of our club’s philanthropic activity each year, has raised over $193,000 since beginning in 2014, and consistently engages sell-out crowds of over 600 attendees year after year.
We invite you to partner with us to make a significant impact on our local community.
WHAT YOUR SPONSORSHIP SUPPORTS:
- 100% = direct charitable support. All sponsorship contributions fund club grants and service projects benefiting nonprofit organizations serving our local and global community.
- 0% = event costs. We work hard to keep costs low through volunteer and in-kind support and cover all expenses through ticket sales.
- Sponsorship contributions are fully tax deductible and are payable to the Warwick Rotary Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
Like all Rotary clubs, our giving ladders up through Rotary International’s areas of focus. We’re particularly focused on children’s and family causes. Last year’s funds supported:
- Local causes: Virginia Living Museum, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Boys & Girls Clubs, Warwick HS Scholarship, CNU McMurran Scholarship, Serve the City, Edmarc Hospice for Children, Thrive Peninsula, Peninsula Foodbank, FirstSpark (Smart Beginnings), Housing Development Corporation of Hampton Roads
- International aid: The Rotary Foundation, PolioPlus, Disaster Aid USA, Shelter Box
